He specialises in criminal law, with a primary focus on commercial and fiscal criminal cases. She has experience in the area of cybercrime and cyber security. He represents the interests of clients in the course of tax and customs and fiscal inspections. He appears in disciplinary liability cases before professional self-regulatory bodies.
He gained his several years of experience by cooperating with law firms specialising primarily in white-collar crime cases. At Żyglicka i Wspólnicy, he assists clients at every stage of criminal proceedings, including enforcement and cassation proceedings. He defends clients suspects and defendants in criminal proceedings involving organised economic crime, money laundering, corruption offences, tax fraud, gambling and drug crime. Michał Korszla assists corporate clients, including large business entities, including those harmed by crimes of abuse of trust, fraud, acting to the detriment of a creditor. He protects the interests of individuals and entities in relation to criminogenic threats occurring in corporate disputes.
Recently, he has been focusing his particular interests on cyber security and cyber crime. He participates and advises in criminal proceedings in the field of hacking and information security, this including data theft, manufacture and disposal of hacking tools, identity theft, business email compromise fraud, phishing, spamming, defamation and online libel. Michał Korszla assists with handling information security incidents and implementing information security documentation.
Michał represents clients before the tax authorities and before the administrative courts in tax matters, with particular emphasis on audit proceedings.
Participant of training and seminars on economic and fiscal criminal law. Co-author of an annual international study for the Lexology institution on the state of cyber security in Poland. To better understand the specifics of hacking crime and its consequences, he pursues technical courses in IT.
