“Silesia 2030 – Vision and Development Goals” debate
On 8 April 2019, Izabella Żyglicka took part in the “Silesia 2030 – Vision and Development Goals” debate held by Jakub Chełstowski, Marshall of the Silesian Province.
The subject of this debate was the expectations and intentions of the business as well as social needs and development challenges. Participants talked about visions and objectives that our region encounters.
Christopher Todd, head of the department of the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional Policy presented the assumptions on which the future cohesion policy in the perspective of 2021–2027 is being built.
Directions set out in the governmental documents, i.e. the Strategy for Responsible Development and National Strategy for Regional Development 2030, were presented by: Grzegorz Tobiszowski – Secretary of State, Ministry of Energy, and Tomasz Kot – Deputy Director of the Development Department, Ministry of Innovation and Development.
All comments and conclusions made during the debate will be taken into consideration during further work on the draft of the Province Development Strategy.
