PGNIG: New combined heat and power fluidised bed unit (CFB) at EC Zofiówka
On 7 November 2018, EC Zofiówka saw the official commissioning of the new fluidised bed unit (CFB) for combined heat and power production. During the investment process, PGNiG Termika EP S.A. consulted with lawyers from our law firm.
The company invited Izabella Żyglicka and associate Paweł Karasiński to take part in the ceremony of commissioning of Poland’s largest fluidised bed unit.
Piotr Woźniak, Chairman of PGNiG SA said: “The new power-generating unit at “Zofiówka” Branch constitutes a key element in the power supply security strategy for the inhabitants of Jastrzębie-Zdrój and mines operating in the area. The investment will enable us to generate heat and power for the next 30 years.”
