Mrs Izabella Żyglicka takes part in the Conference held by the Minister of Health
On 13 June 2018, Mrs Izabella Żyglicka, Vice-chairman of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, took part in the Conference entitled “A patient and the system: Rules of healthcare operation”, which was held by the Ministry of Health. This was the First Debate of the “Together for Health” cycle.
The purpose of this and further debates, which will be held in several cities of Poland, is to develop a system that will counterbalance social needs with available financial and economic resources of the state and social capital exposure. It is necessary to suggest how increasing, but still limited healthcare expenditure, should be spent more effectively, because extra money may improve the health situation of Poles, extend their lives in good health, reduce morbidity, including in particular the incidence of chronic and civilisation diseases, and improve treatment efficacy.
