Legal counsel Jarosław Rudy advised Kvarko ASI Sp. z o.o. on the investment in CAPTIVE PORTAL INSTALLER Sp. z o.o.
Jarosław Rudy legal counsel and partner in the law firm Żyglicka & Partners, advised Kvarko ASI Sp. z o.o. on the investment in CAPTIVE PORTAL INSTALLER Sp. z o.o., with regard to the “Captive Portal Installer” project.
The total value of funds acquired by CAPTIVE PORTAL INSTALLER Sp. z o.o. amounts to PLN 1 million.
The Company will create a tool named Captive Portal Installer, which will allow automatic configuration of a network device and remote implementation of the captive portal, i.e. a website displayed to users of an open, free WiFi network in order to grant access to the Internet after successful authentication. The CPI will be an element of what is known as smart WiFi and will enable the creation and management of databases of clients using a free network.
The project was developed in response to the needs of open WiFi network providers, who struggle with the problem consisting in the necessity to provide manual installation and to hire specialists to perform such works at the target client’s premises. This affects the time of work, increases the costs of the whole process and introduces territorial restrictions in expansion onto new markets.
