European Congress of SMEs in Katowice –Izabella Żyglicka at the conference entitled ”Corporate Audit – Should you be afraid of it?”

On 19 October 2017, the conference entitled ”Corporate Audit – Should you be afraid of it?” was held during the European Congress of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in the International Congress Centre in Katowice.

One of speakers was Izabella Żyglicka, Legal Adviser, Managing Partner of Adwokaci i Radcowie Prawni Spółka Komandytowa Izabella Żyglicka i Wspólnicy, who spoke on behalf of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice as the Chamber’s Representative in charge of Entrepreneurs’ Rights, and presented the point of view of small and medium-sized enterprises.

The agenda of the Conference included, among others, the following subjects:

• General legal conditions for corporate audits
• How to act during the audit?
• The Supreme Audit Office as a leading audit institution: What should SMEs expect?
• Labour Inspection Authority, Health Inspection Authority and Trade Inspection Authority: competences and rights
• Why should the protection of personal data not be ignored?
• Protection of the free market and consumer rights by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection
• Is a tax controller always right?
• Role of audit institutions in the State policy
