Professional Background:
Aurelia Uszok began her legal career during her second year of law studies, gaining experience in law firms specializing in commercial, corporate, and construction law. She then advanced her skills as an in-house lawyer within the legal department of a large corporate group, where she acquired expertise in negotiations, trademark registration, labor law, pharmaceutical law, corporate dispute resolution, anti-mobbing practices, and drafting workplace regulations.
She currently specializes in providing legal services to business entities, handling divorce and property division cases, as well as addressing issues related to deposit systems and broadly defined online hate speech. She regularly represents clients before common courts, offering comprehensive legal support at all stages of proceedings.
Aurelia has been associated with Żyglicka i Wspólnicy Law Firm since 2024. She represented the firm at the XVII Forum of Legal Department Directors, where topics such as the transformation of the lawyer’s role into a business partner, risk management, collaboration with external law firms, and challenges related to Legal Design and new technologies were discussed.
Education:
- Trainee solicitor (1st year) at the District Chamber of Legal Advisors in Katowice.
- Graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She defended her master’s thesis titled “Characteristics of a European Company and Methods of Its Formation” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hab. Piotr Pinior.
- Holder of a certificate in the division of marital property, including the settlement of corporate rights and cohabitation arrangements in the case law of the Supreme Court.

Privately, Aurelia is an animal enthusiast and a proud owner of pets adopted from shelters. She actively promotes animal adoption and engages in initiatives supporting animal welfare. In her free time, she enjoys singing and participating in charity concerts, has a passion for sung poetry and jazz, and appreciates noir cinema, non-fiction literature, crime novels, traveling, and outdoor activities.
