The use of results of scientific studies in the operation of SMEs as the subject of the 20th Business Council
On 14 December 2020, the 20th Meeting of the Business Council, which operates as a unit of the SME Envoy’s Organisation, was held and discussed the use of results of scientific studies in the operation of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Council presented needs and postulates made by SMEs with regard to the use of scientific solutions, discussed experiences and possibilities of cooperation between entrepreneurs and scientists, legal and technical aid for entrepreneurs in industrial property cases. It also discussed mechanisms of support in establishing cooperation between business and scientific institutions.
The meeting was attended, among others, by: Adam Abramowicz, SME Envoy, Wojciech Murdzek, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Robert Tomanek, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Legal Advisor Izabella Żyglicka, Ombudsman for Business operating at the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Katowice, and representatives of the world of science and business.
