The law knows no borders
When Żyglicka & Partners, one of Poland’s leading law firms, undertakes projects with an international dimension, Ewa Lejman is very often the driving force behind these relationships.
A legal adviser, partner at the firm and the person who has been developing the firm’s international reach for years – building relationships with law firms and business partners from around the world.
Ewa supports entrepreneurs operating globally, advises foreign investors entering the Polish market and helps clients navigate the complex international legal and tax environment.
An important element of this work is the firm’s involvement in Ally Law – a global network of independent law firms, based on cooperation, recommendations and mutual trust between firms from around the world.
It is thanks to these relationships that Żyglicka & Partners participates in international projects and supports clients operating in multiple markets simultaneously.
Between 2016 and 2023, Ewa served as Vice President of Ally Law, one of only three Europeans in the organisation’s senior management.
Her international engagement is further reflected in her membership of the New York State Bar Association and the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) – prestigious organisations bringing together legal professionals from across the world.
As part of Ally Law, she was also actively involved in initiatives supporting women in the legal profession – creating a dedicated space for the exchange of experiences, collaboration and mutual mentoring among female lawyers from different countries, and contributing to strengthening their standing on the international stage.
Because in international business, people and the relationships built over the years are just as important as knowledge and experience.
