Tax Conference “Tax Advisor – a Human Rights Defender”
Izabella Żyglicka was invited to the Group of Experts during the Tax Conference “Tax Advisor – a Human Rights Defender”. The conference was held on 22 November 2019 and the main topic was “A Reliable taxpayer – a safe taxpayer.”
During the debate, Izabella Żyglicka pointed out that we should not expect the number of regulations to decrease. It is impossible in the reality that changes so quickly and it requires the introduction of current legal regulations. Legislation, especially tax legislation, requires and will require specialist knowledge, and the role of Tax Advisers is, among others, to educate and support SMEs. Izabella Żyglicka also called for better preparation of common courts in the field of tax and criminal cases because of a noticeable difference between these courts and administrative courts. She also encouraged Tax Advisers to actively participate in the work of the Ministry of Finance.
The National Chamber of Tax Advisers thanked Izabella Żyglicka for her inspirations and participation in the debate.
