The shortcomings of the Anti-Crisis Package

Izabella Żyglicka, who acts as an Entrepreneurs’ Ombudsman, participated today in the Entrepreneurs’ Council at the SME Ombudsman organised in the form of a videoconference. Entrepreneurs pointed out the shortcomings of the Anti-Crisis Package and proposed specific solutions. Izabella Żyglicka appealed for simple solutions, including, in particular, the voluntary contributions to ZUS, unlocking VAT split payment sub-accounts, extending the possibility of filing tax returns at a later date, dividing into instalments and/or cancelling PIT, CIT, VAT and other tax liabilities for at least 3 months.

You will find a summary of the proposals presented [here]. On behalf of entrepreneurs, the SME Spokesman Adam Abramowicz today sent a letter to the Prime Minister regarding the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), enclosing a specimen document that needs to be filled in, which proves an absolutely clerical approach to help entrepreneurs. We join in the call for the applications to be transparent and not to involve the entire clerical body and issue unnecessary administrative decisions in this situation.

The content of the letter is available [here].
