Attorney-at-law Izabella Żyglicka participates in the Council of Entrepreneurs on tax matters

On 10 April 2019, the Council of Entrepreneurs was held in the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology, chaired by Adam Abramowicz, Spokesman of the Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs.

The most important discussion for entrepreneurs was focused on tax matters with representatives of the Ministry of Finance, members of the Tax Ordinance Team and entrepreneurs speaking. The conclusion pointed out by Izabella Żyglicka was an appeal to entrepreneurs to report every doubtful case, every violation of entrepreneur’s rights and lack of application of the business constitution by official to the Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs spokesperson. Only in this way will it be possible to react and, at the same time, to carry out education in the direction of changing the attitude of officials and the way they perceive entrepreneurs. There are still cases where an entrepreneur is treated as a criminal. That is why, among other things, entrepreneurs have a spokesperson – both Spokesperson of the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Spokesperson of the Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs – so that each case can be dealt with institutionally. Changes in the approach to taxpayers are already noticeable – the Ministry of Finance organises the so-called “soft skills” training courses.

A very interesting discussion was held by the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) on the control of sick leaves by small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. To each entrepreneur interested in this subject, I would like to address an invitation to contact the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry at rzecznik@rig.katowice.pl
