Counsel Izabella Żyglicka to become the Chairperson of the Team for Draft Act on Criminal Liability of Collective Entities for Punishable Offences as a member of the Entrepreneurship Council under SME

Izabella Żyglicka was the initiator of the establishment of the Working Team for the draft of the above mentioned Act. The Team operates within the framework of the Entrepreneurship Council appointed by Adam Abramowicz, the Spokesperson for Small and Medium-sized Entrepreneurs. The Team has developed a Position to be presented at the Extraordinary Meeting of the Council of Entrepreneurs with the participation of invited Ministers, which will be held on 21 December 2018 in the Polish Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology in Warsaw.

The Team points out the areas of relations between the Constitution for Business and the proposed draft Act, which, in the opinion of the Team, contradict the main principles of the Constitution, i.e.

  1. Everything which is not forbidden by law is allowed.
  2. The principle of the presumption of the innocence of an entrepreneur.
  3. The principle of proportionality.
  4. The principle of a business-friendly interpretation of regulations.

The Team expressed the openness to the solutions aimed at preventing crime in Poland and their readiness for further work.

The work of the Team is facilitated by representatives of the largest associations of entrepreneurs and chambers of commerce.
