Remote sensing is a remote (without direct contact with the object) data sourcing with use of sensors (air, satellite, ground) registering images in various spectral scopes (visible radiation, infrared, microwaves etc.). The images are applied in many fields, such as: geology, geodesy and cartography, environmental monitoring (including tests of water condition, air quality, soil pollution identification), opencast mining, precise agriculture or recognizing harmful materials, such as eternit.
